GreenNine and the Founder Mr. Balamurugan was planning on scaling up their services to other districts in Tamil Nadu. When they were planning on scling up, ABB was the key factor who helped them to achieve it. Now they have scaled up to multiple districts in Tamil Nadu, with their Founder and CEO Mr. Balamurugan is able to monitor and take decisions on real time basis.
The Challenge
With an extremely strong and experienced technical background, the management required support to shift the operations from their existing legacy systems as the margin of error on the business processes started to increase as they began to scale up.
The projects were handled across 5+ districts and the communication on the progress and real-time updates were missing for the management to take quicker managerial decisions. These delayed decisions also affected their procurement of raw materials and payment the payment to their suppliers
The delay in project handover had a root cause, labour management. The labours deployed in a project were not able to communicate the real time progress to the management. This led to deploying more labours in order to complete the project on-time as agreed with the client
Due to a lack in the streamlined Procurement to Pay process, the management also had a gap to complete the project and handover the site to the client within the estimated budget. As unplanned procurement and payments led to uncertainty.
The Solution
Procurement to Pay:
End to End Procurement to Pay (P2P) process automation i.e. Purchase Requisition, Supplier Quote, Purchase Order, GRN and Payment using Custom built Mobile and Web Applications
P2P dashboard helped the management to track purchase expenses and Payment, GRN Status, Price History of a material and supplier, status of the Purchase requisition, unpaid purchase orders to track the future cashflows
Labour Management:
Labour Tracking & Utilization to payment process automation i.e. daily labour details entry, daily work done entry, labour wages creation and labour payment using application
Labour Dashboard helped the management to track daily labour utilization, labour wages, Site wise work scheduling, unpaid labour wages to track the future cashflows
Digitization of daily site photos uploaded by the site engineers on a real time basis on-site to help the management to track the progress
Accounting Procedure:
Accounts application which can track all the income and expenses (Direct and Indirect) such as Purchase payment entry, labour wages entry and other payment entry using applications
